Those that view the message of the market on daily basis are likely confused by trading noise. While trading noise contributes to the long-term trends, it does not define them. While REV LTCO greater than zero (green box), an indication of building upside force within cause building, it has been unable to push USO out of consolidation (chart). Growing instability within Turkey and the Middle East, a possible reason behind the unexpected uptick in force, places crude on traders watch list in 2017.


Crude oil has been in Consolidation (C/P) since the fifth week of August 2016.
