#Trump Already Breaking Campaign Promises

Hillary for Prison, a staple at Trump rallies during the campaign, convinced many to vote for change. This promise appears be yet another of history's bold and meaningless promises. Trump's reluctance to place his company into a double blind trust, a move that would eliminate conflict of interests between his Presidency and his company's assets and holdings, suggests his campaign promise to drain the swamp (of corruption) in Washington is likely at risk as well. Broken promises are all part of maintaining the status quo.

WASHINGTON—President-elect Donald Trump won’t push for prosecutors to investigate Hillary Clinton for her email practices or the operations of the Clinton Foundation, a top aide said Tuesday.

“I think when the president-elect, who’s also the head of your party, tells you before he’s even inaugurated that he doesn’t wish to pursue these charges, it sends a very strong message, tone and content” to others, Trump adviser Kellyanne Conway said on MSNBC.
