Buffett Chides Presidential Candidates But Nobody Listening

Showboating the negatives, while offering vague solutions, is all part of the American political process that's clearing trending towards comedic entertainment. Buffett's statement that Americans are being mislead into believing their children will be worse off than they are is more opinion than message of the market. Declining standard of livings since the 70's, a trend the voting public recognizes, has them with lip-service politics and politicians. It's a big reason why nobody is listening 'establishment', which judging by his comments, includes Buffett. Trump, the good, bad, and ugly show, certainly recognizes this trend. Others would be wise to follow it.

Headline: Buffett rails against presidential candidates who talk down economy

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Warren Buffett bemoaned the "negative drumbeat" on the U.S. economy from presidential candidates in his annual Berkshire Hathaway Inc shareholder letter on Saturday, saying they are misleading Americans into believing their children will be worse off than they are.

"It's an election year, and candidates can't stop speaking about our country's problems (which, of course, only they can solve)," Buffett wrote, italicizing "they" for emphasis.
