Borders Closed as Paris Attacked

Paris, all of France, is the latest casualty of terrorism with at least 125 people dead. In response, Hollande has closed the borders. Freedom of movement throughout Europe will likely be restricted for the foreseeable future.

The public, including leaders in closed door meetings, are worried that security of Europe has been compromised by the refugee crisis. Fears that refugee flow hides terrorist and weapons will likely close all borders soon.

While sympathy for Paris, France, and Europe rightfully occupy the hearts and mind of the world, it will not stop diminish recognition from the investment world that the EU and Euro have suffered a potentially fatal wound within long standing downtrends. This tragic crisis will support continuation of safe haven capital flows from Europe to the United States.
