The Republican party's popularity took a hit after 2013 shutdown. Ted Cruz, a Presidential candidate willing to defy the Beohner's lead, is already in attack mode. This means another shutdown is possible this fall. The Donald can do no wrong on the campaign trail despite constant reminders of the negatives because as an anti-politician he represents the voice of the people.
