Trump builds lead

Trump's popularity stems from the fact that he's neither a professional politician or cut from the political class. John Boehner, a staunch support of the status quo, should oppose Trump or any other political outsider for the Republican nomination. This makes the formation of third party a real possibility in 2016.

TRENTON, N.J. – Few GOP voters like the format of the “Top 10” presidential debate that Fox News is planning for Thursday, a Monmouth University poll released Monday found.

The poll also found Donald Trump widening his national lead to a more than 2-to-1 advantage over his nearest rivals, former Florida governor Jeb Bush and Wisconsin Gov. Scott Walker.
