Calling It Climate Change Rather Than Global Warming Policies

Earth's warming trend ended 17 years ago (1,2). The new figures that have triggered a fierce debate among climatologists suggests no discernible rise in aggregate global temperatures from the beginning of 1997 until August 2012. This ‘plateau’ or ‘pause’ in global warming trend matches the previous 'pause' from 1980 to 1996.Prior to that, temperatures had been stable or declining for about 40 years.

So where does the evidence needed to support the IPCC’s 95 percent certainty claim come from? The true answer is that there simply isn’t any. None at all. There never was…only totally unproven theoretical climate models. The New York Times' Global Warming Hysteria Ignores 17 Years Of Flat Global Temperatures

Those that believe man's greenhouse gases are ruining the Earth's climate should study long-term data and real science rarely presented by the mainstream media MSM. Politicians pushing the climate change (can't call it global warming anymore) agendas are likely motivated more by Greenbacks than Green policies.

Headline: Obama issues challenge on climate change with power plant rule

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - President Barack Obama challenged America and the world to step up efforts to fight global warming on Monday at the formal unveiling of his administration's controversial, ramped-up plan to cut carbon emissions from U.S. power plants.

Declaring climate change the greatest threat facing the world, Obama said the regulation requiring the power sector to cut its emissions by 32 percent from 2005 levels by 2030 would reduce Americans' energy bills and improve the health of vulnerable populations nationwide.
