Why Is The Fed Still Hawkish?

The Fed, stuck between a rock and a hard place, realizes but will never admit the solution to the problem brewing throughout the world will not be solved by domestic interest policies. The Fed will raise rates to not only cover its arse as stock prices climb the wall of worry but also provide some cushion to lower them when the economy, quietly softening within a cyclical uptick ( 1,2 yikes!), tanks rather unexpectedly by 2016.

WASHINGTON, April 8 (Reuters) - U.S. Federal Reserve officials acknowledged risks from overseas and a weak start to the year at their March meeting but remained confident enough in the strength of the recovery to continue laying the groundwork for an interest rate hike later this year, according to minutes from the meeting released on Wednesday.
